Pitch damage: Statement

The club can confirm that the Croft Park pitch was damaged at some point between Saturday evening and Monday morning and Northumbria Police have issued the following statement appealing for witnesses: Police are appealing for information after damage was caused to parts of Blyth Spartans’ pitch. BBC Look North next week

Spartans fans may like to watch BBC Look North this Tuesday (6.30pm) when there will be a feature on Munitionettes’ football during the First World War. Blyth Spartans Ladies side were particularly successful. Their star striker, Bella Reay, regularly stole the headlines with her goal scoring exploits.
