Striker Dan Maguire has withdrawn from the England ‘C’ squad for the game against Slovakia. ‘Nipa’ has been an injury doubt over the last few weeks, and was forced of the field in yesterday’s 4-1 defeat at the hands of Bradford Park Avenue. Yesterday evening Blyth Spartans defender Andrew Cartwright was called up to the England ‘C’ Squad for their trip to Slovakia. ‘Carty’ was on standby in the contingency squad, but has now received a late call up for the International Challenge Trophy final held at the Mestsky Stadion in Ziar Nad Hronom.
