Players selected for FA squad
Four Spartans players have been honoured by being selected for an FA Representative Squad. Dan Maguire, Lewis Horner, Nathan Buddle and Matty Wade have been chosen by England C team manager Paul Fairclough as part of a squad of 16. Hooks reveals relief at ending away day hoodoo

Ashington trip in NSC Semi final draw
The draw for the Northumberland Senior Cup semi final was made last night and Spartans will face an away tie against Ashington. The other semi final sees Newcastle United Under 21s entertain Whitley Bay for a place in the final. Education and Sport Scholarship – Open Night

Open night announced
An open night, when people can find out more about the Blyth Spartans Education and Sport Scholarship, will be held in the Club House at Croft Park on Wednesday 5th March. Starting at 6.30pm the night will see an Introduction by Steven Brennan of Virtual learning UK which will give details of the BTEC Level 3 in sport science which is on offer.
