Blyth Spartans are pleased to announce the signing of centre back Malakai Reeve until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old defender joins Spartans from EFL League 2 side Barrow AFC where he has made 2 appearances in the EFL Trophy this season while featuring in their B Team set-up as well as spending a month on loan at Northern Premier League side FC United of Manchester.
On his new defensive recruit, Jon Shaw said: “We’re happy to get Malakai, it’s a great test for him, he’s been out and played at the level below so the next step is NLN. He’s athletic and good on the ball and will be a great addition.”
With an important game against Kings Lynn at Croft Park on Saturday, Malakai is in contention to make his National League North debut.
