Blyth Spartans can announce that their final game to be arranged for the upcoming season will be against Northern League side Ashington
Sat 30 – (H) – Ashington (3pm)
The tie will see former Spartan Gary Middleton come to Croft Park, with a host of ex-Spartans expected to be included in the squad and on the side lines with Liam Atkin, Phil Bell and Paul Willary all featuring for Ashington last season. Ashington’s coaching set up also includes Richie Bond (a member of the Spartans’ Hall of Fame).
