The Festive edition of the Blyth Spartans podcast produced in association with Radio Northumberland is now available. Hosted by the station’s Head of Sport Jonny Hall and Spartans Senior Press Officer Mark Carruthers there is plenty for the Green Army to listen to in a packed show.
There’s the battle of the Centre Backs as Arjun Purewal takes on Nathan Buddle(both pictured above) in the Quiz of the Season while left back Ian Watson takes you into the Spartans dressing room with the feature made popular on Soccer AM, “Team mates”.
Robbie Dale takes a nostalgic look back at his ten years at the club and selects the best players he had played alongside at Croft Park in “One to Eleven” and Jonny and Mark pick their best five Spartans goals of 2013 including the winner of the Radio Northumberland Goal of the Year.
Manager Tom Wade takes a look back at a year that has since him hold three different positions at the club and expresses his hopes for a positive 2014.
