Blyth Spartans can announce that they have registered Chris Fairless as a player for this season.
Fairless has been helping the club out on the coaching side of things this season and has been registered as a player in case of emergency.
A forward or attacking midfielder, Fairless was a trialist for the club under Tommy Cassidy and played in several of the pre-season fixtures at the start of last season, scoring in the game against Sunderland RCA.
