Following Farsley Celtic’s resignation from the Blue Square North there will obviously be no game this Tuesday at Croft Park between the two sides. As a result the next home game will be Saturday 27 March 2010 (kick off 3pm) against Gloucester City.
The club have received the following statement from the Football Conference: – On Monday 8th March 2010, the Football Conference was notified that Farsley Celtic FC would be unable to fulfil their Blue Square North fixture on Tuesday 9th March 2010, following advice received from the Administrator overseeing the financial affairs of the club. The club has been informed that manager Mick Tait is to be inducted into Portsmouth FC’s Hall of Fame next week. Mick will travel down to the ceremony at the troubled Premiership Club next Friday (prior to the Alfreton Town game).
