Ronnie Scott

Ronnie Scott, who played in Blyth Spartans’ historic FA Cup run to a fifth round replay against Wrexham at St. James’ Park in 1977/78, has died. Ronnie, who was in his late 60s, passed away at home on Saturday and had been suffering from cancer. After signing from Red Row he played at centre half for the Spartans for ten seasons till 1978.
