Blyth Spartans can announce the signing of midfielder Lewis Horner from Newcastle Benfield. The 21-year-old started his career at SPL side Hibernian, where he made 1 league appearance. He joined East Stirlingshire on loan and played 25 games for the Shire, scoring twice. Due to both sides exiting the FA Cup at the First Qualifying Round stage our trip to Barwell will now take place on Saturday 28th September.
