Blyth Spartans can announce the signing of midfielder Lewis Horner from Newcastle Benfield.
The 21-year-old started his career at SPL side Hibernian, where he made 1 league appearance. He joined East Stirlingshire on loan and played 25 games for the Shire, scoring twice.
He has been with Newcastle Benfield this season and was impressive for Benfield in the game against the Spartans during the pre-season.
