Spartans Seek Financial Administrator

Blyth Spartans Association Football Club, an inclusive community-owned club with a proud history and an exciting future, a passionate supporter base and strong community values, is inviting applications for the volunteer role of Financial Administrator.

This is a crucial position within the club, responsible for ensuring the day-to-day finances of the club are handled efficiently. As we continue to rebuild and progress on and off the pitch, this role offers a unique opportunity to be part of something truly special at Croft Park.

Key Responsibilities:

Quickbooks management.

Managing all invoices received including making bank payments within the relevant timescales.

Issue of invoices for advertising boards, hospitality, and sponsorship.

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Work with our accountants to ensure VAT returns and Annual accounts are produced.

Report to and liaise closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Mark Middling.

The Ideal Candidate:

Well-organised with strong attention to detail.

An awareness of Quickbooks or other accounting software.

Time-management skills to ensure deadlines are met.

Able to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.

Good communication skills to deliver clear financial data to the CFO and our external accountants.

Confidentiality to protect company and employee financial records
