Ensure you bring your parkrun barcode with you (printed or digital as permitted by parkrun).
Make your way to the start area by 8:50am ready for the pre-event briefing.
The parkrun starts promptly at 9:00am.
During the Event
Enjoy the event at your own pace - whether you walk, jog or run.
Follow instructions from the Run Director and volunteers at all times.
Be respectful of other participants and park users.
At The Finish
After crossing the finish line, please remain in the finish funnel.
You will be given a finish token by a volunteer.
Take both your personal barcode and finish token to the barcode scanning volunteers.
The volunteer will scan:
Your personal barcode
Your finish token
That's it! Your result will then be processed and sent to you by parkrun.
parkrun Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to:
Pay attention to the pre-parkrun briefing.
Respect everyone's right to participate in their own way.
Keep under 11s within arm's reach of a parent or guardian at all times.
Only have one dog per person, on a short lead.
Be mindful of the local environment and other park users.
Remember: No scannable barcode, no time, no exception.
Have fun - it's only a walk, jog or run.
Thank the amazing volunteers.
We look forward to seeing as many members of the Blyth Spartans family as possible for what promises to be a fantastic community event. Together, let's turn Blyth Links green and white!
