Jack Walker signs for Spartans

Blyth Spartans AFC are pleased to announce the signing of 35-year-old centre back Jack Walker from Dunston UTS.
The experienced defender brings valuable versatility to the Spartans squad ahead of the upcoming season, with the ability to play across all positions across the back line.
Walker has competed at the highest levels of both the Northern League and Northern Premier League East. He played a key role in North Shields' Northern League Division One title-winning campaign in 2021/22, under current Spartans boss Marc Nash.
The commanding defender has been a mainstay at Dunston, making 56 appearances and helping the club reach the play-offs in each of the last three seasons.
Jack has become the only player to have played for me at this, and the other three clubs I've been at, I think that speaks for itself.
His reliability, calmness and experience will be a great addition. A tremendous competitor who's still highly motivated, I know he will be a hit at Blyth.
