Blyth Spartans can confirm that goalkeeper Michael Hogan has joined Alnwick Town on a dual-registration basis.
The move will provide Hogan with valuable competitive minutes while he remains available to the Spartans as part of Marc Nash’s first-team squad.
Goalkeeping coach Phil Hogg believes the opportunity will help ensure Hogan is ready to compete when called upon at Croft Park.
Hogg said:
"It’s important our players are ready when called upon, and this includes our goalkeepers.
“The playing time Michael receives will be invaluable to him and the squad. There is no doubt he has all the qualities to challenge for the number one position at Spartans."
