Hazel Almquist - RIP

Blyth Spartans are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of long-time supporter and supporters club committee member Hazel Almquist, who passed this morning aged 69, after a long battle with cancer.

Hazel volunteered in several different roles for both the supporters club and the football club over the years, most notably organising away travel throughout the 1990's and early 2000's.

The thoughts of everyone at the club are with Hazel's family and friends.
