Floodlight Installation Underway

The installation of the new floodlights at Croft Park got underway in the past fortnight, as our old halogen floodlights are set to be replaced by new energy-efficient LED lights.

Groundsman Peter Henderson was on hand to assist the workmen in digging the foundations of the new lights, before the new foundations were concreted in and the trenches dug along the side of the pitch for the new wiring.

The new steel beams are set to be hoisted into place next week, prior to the new lights being installed, and the old lights that have towered above Croft Park for 60 years are finally brought down.
