As a Blyth based business NEFS are proud to have delivered the contract for the full refurbishment of the Croft Park Changing facilities at the home of the famous Blyth Spartans.
As a life long Spartans fan Director Paul Roper took on the role of project manager on site to deliver the scheme in 6 weeks during the close season.The upgrades bring the facility right up to date with the latest technology which is both energy efficient and future proofed to tap into future projects like solar power.
We managed to get value engineering from our local supply chain to deliver more upgrades for the club within the same budget, including finishes to the away changing rooms including new flooring, bench seating and shower boards.
A special shout out to Jack Hunter (NEFS) Chris Reynolds (Millennium heating and gas services) and Peter Henderson (Blyth Spartans) who on more than one occasion put in some long days to get this over the line.
We are very happy with the finished product and hope it gives the players of both the Mens and Womens teams many years of enjoyment. Hopefully another 50 years!

Blyth Spartans AFC now has facilities for players and officials that we can be genuinely proud of. Thanks to the Football Foundation for the funding, and with huge appreciation to Paul Roper and NEFS for the top-quality delivery, we have created an environment that we hope will play its part in making Blyth Spartans the club everyone wants to play for – and Croft Park the ground even the referees can’t wait to come to! This club is most certainly on the way up
