Spartans U17's fell to defeat for the first time this season - going down to a 7-5 defeat against EFL side Harrogate Town, in a game that was heavily effected by snow at St Peter's Hub.

Despite leading 2-1 and 4-3 in the game, the youngsters from the Football League kept up the pressure managed to out score Spartans in the snow. Jake Taylor managed to bag a brace, while forward Jay Richardson, Joe Watson and Will Dixon all managed to get on the scoresheet.

The U19's however managed to maintain their unbeaten start to the season, all while ending Gateshead's unbeaten start! Goals from Ryan Ndiweni, Luke Parker and Joe Youens ensured Spartans picked up a 3-1 victory in South Tyneside.

They now sit 4 points behind league leaders FC Halifax Town, with a game in hand.
