1899 Club Push

First of all, we would like to thank every member of the 1899 Club, both those who have supported the scheme for many years and those who have joined more recently. Your continued support is greatly appreciated and plays an important role in helping Blyth Spartans. We currently have around 460 active entries in the 1899 Club, andthat support provides a valuable and consistent source of income for the clubthroughout the year. As one of the club's key recurring income streams, the 1899 Club helps provide the financial stability needed to support the football operation, including the management team and the players who represent Blyth Spartans on the pitch. The ambition now is to grow that figure to 500 active entries, creating an even stronger and more sustainable platform for the future of the club.

To reach that target, we only need a relatively small increase, for example:

40 additional single entries, or 20 additional Silver Package entries.

We're very conscious that supporters have already given the club tremendousbacking. Following the takeover, supporters contributed more than £25,000 throughthe GoFundMe appeal, helping to stabilise the club at a critical time. We alsorecognise that supporters contribute to the club in many other ways, whether that'sthrough purchasing season tickets, buying merchandise from the club shop,supporting the Shield & Skillet, enjoying a pint in the clubhouse, sponsoring the club,volunteering their time, or simply attending matches. Every contribution, large or small, helps support Blyth Spartans and is greatly appreciated.

This is not intended to be another appeal for supporters to dig deeper into theirpockets. Rather, it is about continuing to build a sustainable, long-term way of supporting the club through a scheme that provides regular, predictable income throughout the year.

Whilst the number of entries has remained steady over the past year, there is always the risk that numbers can stagnate or gradually decline if we don't continue to promote the scheme and attract new members.

Signing up is now very straightforward via the Blyth Spartans website

The website links directly to our Go Cardless sign-up page, where supporters can complete their registration in just a few minutes.

For supporters who prefer not to set up a direct debit, there is also the option to pay for the year in cash or card payment.

Even one extra entry, or encouraging a friend, family member or fellow supporter to join, can make a real difference.

Reaching 500 active entries would be a fantastic milestone and would help strengthen one of the club's most important recurring sources of support.
