Team News
Spartans will continue to be without Billy Gordon and Zach Simpson. Dean Briggs was withdrawn in the 1st half of last weekend's game at Bamber Bridge. The midfielder will be assessed in the morning ahead of the game
Opposition
The Reds were set to take a point during their last match against FC United of Manchester until the 93rd minute when Matt Grivosti broke the deadlock to deny Workington a draw.
The defeat left Workington 16th in the league standings with 39 points, with nine games left to go.
What They're Saying
After a late defeat to Macclesfield, Mark Fell said: “I thought we played really well actually.
"It's probably the best we've played for a while actually in terms of territory, final third entries and half-chances. We probably didn't create enough really good chances as they just one dropped for us at certain times."
Last Time We Met
The sides met at Croft Park in September, where Blyth secured a 1-0 victory over Workington thanks to a 62nd-minute goal from Billy Gordon.
The last time the Spartans travelled to Borough Park was during the August Bank Holiday in 2017 when Blyth managed a 2-0 victory over the Reds.
