"It's time in our remaining games to give the young players of Blyth Spartans the chance to step up and shine, to get ready for next season and the dawn of a new era - a new beginning that I believe and expect will see the Spartans rise again."
Opposition
Matlock Town currently sit in 19th in the league standings, inside the relegation zone, four points from safety as they chase Whitby Town, who sit 18th.
In their last match, they were defeated 3-0 on the road to three second-half goals from Bamber Bridge.
New interim first-team coach Adam Clayton will take charge of his first match on Saturday against Blyth, since his appointment on March 18, 2025.
What They're Saying

"It was disappointing to lose the manager as Ryan is a great guy and one of the reasons why I came here. But he really wants us to succeed and has given me his blessing in terms of taking the job on."
