Blyth Spartans are set for their first game without Michael Connor since his departure as Colin Myers and Derek Forrest take charge in their first match against Hyde United on Saturday.

The Spartans were defeated 5-0 at home to NPL Premeir Division champions Macclesfield last Saturday.

Harry Gardiner and Billy Gordon are expected to miss the remainder of the season, however, Spartans have no fresh injury worries following last weekend's match.

Opposition

Hyde United sit 10th in the league standings with 51 points. On Saturday, they could move as high as seventh or down to 12th, depending on other results.

Nick Spooner's side managed a 2-1 win away from home against Whitby Town last time out.

Following a victory on the road, Nick Spooner said: "It was really tough conditions for both sides today.

"I thought both sides handled the conditions very well, as it's tough with the wind. We were against it first half, and I thought they would have put us under a bit more pressure."

Last Time We Met

Spartans suffered a 1-0 defeat at home against Hyde in November as Jack Renshaw scored for the visitors, loanee Connor Pani was also shown a red card.
