Blyth Spartans look to build on their recent form as they travel to Guisborough for their next NPL East clash.
Spartans have won their last 4 league games in a row only conceding one goal to Heaton Stannington within that run which extended their unbeaten home run to 10 games.
Spartans are yet to win on the road in the league despite beating Wythenshawe 4-0 in the FA Trophy, but they will be hoping to change their fortunes this weekend.
The Opponents: Guisborough Town.
Guisborough Town also known as The Priorymen were promoted to the NPL East after winning the Northern League Division One last season.
They currently sit 18th in the league tied on points with Grimsby Borough sitting just one place outside the relegation zone.
The Priorymen have only won one of their last five in all competitions beating fellow northeast strugglers Ashington 1-0.
History of the fixture:
Saturday's fixture will be the first time the sides have met in over 33 years.
Spartans have a poor record at Guisborough only winning two out of the previous nine fixtures played at the King Edward KGV Stadium.
The last fixture was played on Saturday, 25 September 1993 which finished as a 1-1 draw.
Dave Wintersgill gave The Priorymen the lead in the first half but Spartans fired back just before the hour mark through Don Peattie to maintain their unbeaten start to the season as they sat top of the table.
