
Blyth Spartans will play their fourth fixture in 10 days as the relentless August schedule continues when they travel to Bridlington on Tuesday night.
Spartans tasted defeat for the first time this season at the hands of Silsden on Saturday.
Jack Foalle converted late but it was too little too late after Spartans conceded goals either side of half time leaving them winless in the league after two fixtures.

The Opposition: Bridlington Town
Bridlington also known as The Seasiders enjoyed life in the NPL East last season claiming 58 points finishing in eighth place.
The Seasiders currently sit one place below Spartans also claiming one point from their opening two league fixtures.
Their most recent outing was a 1-1 draw with Hallam FC a late Tom Allan equaliser helped rescue their only point of the season so far.

Scott Kerr is the manager of Bridlington Town being appointed at the end of December 2025.
Before his appointment The Seasiders were sat in 11th place with Kerr guiding them up the table towards the end of the season.
An experienced player Kerr made over 400 senior appearances for teams such as Bradford City and York in the EFL as well as captaining Lincoln City for six seasons.
