The Visitors: Blyth Spartans
Blyth Spartans travel to the East Coast to face off against Bridlington Town in their next NPL East game.
Spartans haven't played a league fixture since New Year's Day, after their game against Redcar Athletic was postponed this weekend.
Spartans must change their form around, as shown during the course of this season, there is plenty of pace and athleticism in the squad; however, they have to convert performances into points.
The Hosts: Bridlington Town
Bridlington Town, known as the Seasiders were founded in 1918 as Bridlington Central United before being reformed as Bridlington Town just two years later.
The Seasiders had started this season in strong form, but have recently been on a poor run of form and find themselves in mid-table after spending a period of time in the playoff spots this season.
They have lost their last four league matches, and a concern for the hosts is the number of goals they have conceded; they will be hoping to restore some consistency as they welcome Blyth Spartans to Queensgate on Tuesday Evening.
What's at Stake
Bridlington Town will be looking to get back to winning ways in the league. The Seasiders will look to utilise their attacking prowess and restore their solid defensive record, having kept nine clean sheets in the NPL East this season.
On the other hand, Spartans need a reaction after their disappointing defeat to fellow strugglers Blyth Town. Conversion could be the most important factor for Spartans, and with the number of goals the hosts have been conceding lately, there could be opportunities for Spartans' forwards to pounce on.
Team News
There are no injury concerns or suspensions within the squad, so all players will be available for selection for tonight's match.
