JJ Hooper hopes to be fit for the game, with a decision on his involvement expected tomorrow.
What We're Saying
After the defeat to Whitby, Colin Myers said: “I think on the face of the game we deserved at least a point.
“From the first half performance we had the better chances, I think the difference today was the goalkeeper.”
Opposition
Worksop sit second in the league standings and have nothing to play for on Saturday as they have confirmed their league position for the season and will enter the playoffs for a chance at promotion.
On Bank Holiday Monday, Worksop defeated Basford United 4-0 at home.
What They're Saying
Following their victory on Monday, Craig Parry said: “I'm pleased with the performance. I think it was important that we came through the game with no injuries, no scares.
“I think the result is a good result, I think we played well, especially in the second half, and we probably could've had more goals if I'm being a bit critical.”
Last Time We Met
Earlier in the season, the Spartans were defeated 5-2 on the road to Worksop Town, which saw all seven goals come in the second half. Billy Gordon and loanee Joao Gomes scored for Spartans on the day.
