The Hosts: Blyth Spartans
Spartans were boosted by the return of Jordan Hickey last week who made a substitute appearance in their narrow defeat to Newton Aycliffe.
Blyth remain on 40 points and sit just three points above the dotted line despite their recent upturn in form. Every game from now until the end of the season must be treated as a cup final to confirm their place in the division for next season.
Spartans have not lost in front of their home fans since New Years Day and are unbeaten in five at Croft Park which they must utilise if they are to defeat Silsden on Saturday.
The Visitors: Silsden
Silsden sit one place below Spartans having also accrued 40 points this season, the clash is just as big for the visitors as it is for Blyth due to their recent form dragging them back into the relegation scrap.
Silsden have failed to win any of their last six league games only picking up two points along the way (0-0 draw with Grimsby Borough and a 1-1 draw with Ossett United).
However, Silsden have been good on the road this season picking up most of their points on their travels, they have only lost one of their last four away league matches.
Last Time Out: Silsden 3-0 Blyth Spartans
An early season clash between the sides saw Silsden run out comfortable winners after a rampant second half performance.
Chances were at a premium in the first half, Blyth arguably came closest to scoring through Benji Shodeinde but his chipped effort trickled wide of the post and Callum Dobson was forced into two brilliant saves but the scores remained level heading into the break.
Silsden came flying out of the blocks after the restart and punished Spartans as Kayle Price latched onto a ball behind the Blyth defence and slotted home in the 50th minute.
The points were sealed for Silsden within eight minutes of breaking the deadlock thanks to a Luke Brooksbank double, both strikes almost identical as the forward picked up the ball on the left hand side before chopping in and whipping them both into the far corner rounding off a perfect afternoon for Silsden.
