Noah Millington, Paddy McClafferty and Andy Evans are all sidelined for the weekend's clash with Lincoln United through injury.

Lucas Taylor made his debut on Wednesday night for Spartans after signing from Fleetwood Town, he will also be available to make his home debut on Saturday afternoon.

Blyth Spartans return to Croft Park this Saturday for more NPL East action against Lincoln United.

Spartans earned a hard fought draw in tough conditions on Wednesday night against play off chasing Heaton Stannington at the Willow Park.

Blyth know that a victory could move them out of the relegation zone this weekend however the opposition at hand have been in fine form recently and will pose a challenge for Spartans.

Blyth followed up their victory against Dunston UTS with a point on the road against Heaton Stannington despite conditions being tough for both sides.

Jack Foalle was on the scoresheet again claiming his sixth goal of the season in Spartans colours, he has been a key component of the hosts upturn in form over the recent weeks.

Spartans will be looking to make it three consecutive wins at Croft Park when they entertain Lincoln United having narrowly lost out to them earlier in the season.

The Visitors: Lincoln United

The Visitors currently sit 13th in the league table claiming 36 points so far this season and sit seven points above the relegation zone.

Lincoln convincingly beat relegation-threatened Blyth Town at Gateway Park on Tuesday night running out 3-0 winners, this was their first victory away from home in the league this season.

The away side will be looking to make it back-to-back victories on the road as they prepare to make the long trip to Northumberland, they will be eager to extend the gap to the relegation zone and claim three points against Spartans.

A cagey affair in the first half caused both sides to cancel each other out, with little creativity to show the best chance in the opening 45 minutes fell to Rio Joisce who dragged his effort wide of the post.

The only goal of the game came within the opening minute of the second half, Jack Chapman slipped on the edge of the box presenting potent finisher Connor Brown with a one-on-one against Callum Dobson and the former finished excellently.

Despite falling behind early on after the restart, Spartans showed promising signs with chances falling to Michael Fowler and Rio Joisce but they were unable to convert and the game was decided by a single goal margin.
