Blyth Spartans v Dunston | Saturday, 21 February 2026 - 15:00 | League

Blyth Spartans will look to get back to winning ways at Croft Park after two tough away matches in the NPL East.
Spartans have narrowly lost out to Matlock Town and Emley in their previous two outings despite displaying strong performances against play-off hopefuls.
However, another difficult side stands in the way of Blyth this weekend, but being at Croft Park could be the difference between the teams; the hosts need a victory with the position they find themselves in heading into the latter stages of this season.

The Hosts: Blyth Spartans
Spartans were dealt a huge blow last weekend, conceding a stoppage-time penalty after holding out high-flying Emley across the 90 minutes.
New signing Jamie Clark made his debut as a second-half substitute in last weekend's clash after his return to Spartans, and Spencer Ashcroft made his first start after being called up from the Spartans academy.
With the gap to safety stretched to six points, the task at hand looks daunting, but it is one that Marc Nash and the Spartans will look to overcome as they welcome Dunston to Croft Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Visitors: Dunston UTS
The visitors have had some mixed results recently, picking up eight points in their last five NPL East fixtures currently sitting fourth in the league.
However, both victories within their last five have come on their travels as they narrowly edged out North Ferriby and Grimsby Borough 1-0.
Dunston were on the right side of the result the last time the sides faced off, claiming a 3-0 victory over Spartans in October. They will be looking to complete the double at Croft Park in a bid to cement their place in the play-offs at the end of the season.
Last time out: Dunston UTS 3-0 Blyth Spartans
Dunston had the better of the first half, a flurry of chances put Spartans under serious pressure, having to rely on Callum Dobson's brilliance and a goal-line clearance to keep the scores level.
The hosts did eventually get their reward five minutes before half-time, a corner was whipped into the Spartans' area, and captain Michael Pearson found himself free in the box, calmly heading Dunston in front.
Half time: Dunston 1-0 Blyth Spartans
Despite Blyth creating more chances in the second half, it was Dunston who doubled their lead in the 74th minute. Another corner was floated into the box, and former Spartans player JJ O'Donnell was on hand to convert.
The game was sealed in the 83rd minute as Fin Neary played a neat ball across the box for Wil Shaw, who slotted past Dobson to hand Dunston a comfortable victory.
Full time: Dunston 3-0 Blyth Spartans
