Rhys is well known amongst the Spartans fanbase as he returns this season for his second spell at the club. The full back joined Spartans back in 2019 following spells at Queen of the South and Newcastle Benfield, he would go on to make 152 appearances before leaving to join Morpeth Town in 2024. Rhys who formerly won the Green Army’s POTS award is an attacking right back who is comfortable on the ball and will no doubt add defensive steel to an already solid defence.
