The 35-year-old defender signed for Blyth Spartans this summer helping bolster the back line with another versatile defender. The former North Shields and Dunston defender brings leadership, physicality and composure to an already solid defence. Walker was part of Marc Nashs’ North Shields team which won the Northern League Division One title in 2021/22 and most recently led Dunston to three consecutive play off appearances in the Northern Premier League East Division.
