Blyth Spartans are delighted to announce that Billy Gordon has signed a contract with the Club.
The 18-year-old was an ever-present figure during pre-season and was announced as signing non-contract terms being the start of the 2023/24 National League North campaign alongside Charlie Aitken.
He has made eight league appearances to date, scoring twice, against Chester, and a crucial strike against Scunthorpe United, while featuring heavily for the under-19s following his return from injury towards the back end of October last year.
Manager Jon Shaw commented: “Billy has already shown he’s capable of impacting games at first team level and being influential for the under-19s.
“He’s got a great personality, always smiling, energetic and obviously talented. We’re looking forward to seeing how Billy develops over the next year or so.”
