Centre back Nathan Buddle rejoins Blyth on a 28 day loan from Gateshead starting this Friday.
Spartans manager Tom Wade commented: “It’s great to have Nathan back at Croft Park. We’ve looked a bit frail at the back against free kicks and corners recently. Nathan’s a big lad and can help us in that respect.
“Danny Parker will be missing for the trip to Halesowen at the weekend and although Dillon Morse has done exceptionally well in defence he is not a dominating centre half like Nathan.
“Nathan knows the club and he jumped at the chance to come to us over another club which was in for him.
“We’ve got lots of games coming up thick and fast and we needed to boost the squad, especially bearing in mind Steve Turnbull has now gone and Nipa [Daniel Maguire] is out for a while. I’m still looking for more players to join us.”
