Blyth Spartans can announce the signing of former Darlington goalkeeper Nick Thomson.
The 22-year-old never made a first team appearance for the Quakers, but did feature on the bench for first team in their final season in the Football League, but has spent the last four years in Massachusetts at Boston University, as a virtual ever-present for the Boston Terriers.
He has now returned to the UK and has been training with the club for the last few weeks.
