Blyth Spartans can confirm that Ian Watson has joined the club.
The left back or left winger joins from Northern League side Whitley Bay and featured for the ‘Bay’ when the two sides met in the double header in pre-season.
The former Shildon man, known to everyone as ‘Busted’, was delighted to be coming to Croft Park “It’s a great move for me, I’m at a stage in my career where I feel I’m ready to step up the leagues and I’m looking forward to the challenge at Blyth.”
Manager Tom Wade was also pleased with his new signing “We’ve had an eye on Busted for a while and we are really happy that the deal has finally gone through. He gives us plenty of options and will also bring additional pace to the squad.”
