Blyth Spartans can announce that the signing of central midfielder Tom Richardson, on a month’s loan from Blue Square Bet Premier side Lincoln City, has gone through this afternoon.
The 19-year-old, who hails from Newcastle upon Tyne, started his career at York City and was captain of their reserve side, but was released in the summer by the Bootham Crescent side. He has since been playing with Sheffield FC in the Evo-Stik First Division South, before signing for the Imps earlier this week.
As the Football Conference have confirmed that the loan deal has gone through, the midfielder will be available for selection tomorrow.
