The Club is pleased to announce that Robert Dale has signed a new 2-year contract with Blyth Spartans.
After signing his new contract at The Blacksmiths Arms in Gosforth, Robert commented “I thank Gateshead for their interest but I was never looking to leave Blyth Spartans. No disrespect to Gateshead but I firmly believe Blyth to be a bigger club with their tradition and supporter base. I also firmly believe that within the next 2/3 years we will be challenging for promotion”.
Manager Mick Tait who is building his team for the coming season said he was delighted that Robbie had made the decision to stay at Blyth and was sure his thoughts would be echoed by all Spartans fans.
