This year the club’s annual ‘Sportsman’s Dinner’ will be slightly different than previous times as we pay homage to our Captain Robert Dale as part of his testimonial season. Robert was described earlier this season, in The Times newspaper, as “the best non league player never to turn pro.”
There will be a panel of speakers to take part in a question and answer session. The panel will be Tom Wade, Harry Dunn, Ritchie Bond and of course our guest of honour Robert Dale. There will also be an auction of sports memorabilia and a charity raffle with funds going to a charity of Robert Dale’s choosing.
In addition the evening will feature a Chinese Buffet as a change to the usual fare. The night’s events will also be supported by a top rated comedian.
The ticket price, this year, has been reduced to £15 per head.
The event will take place on Friday the 24th of April, 7.30pm for 8.00pm in the Club House at Croft Park.
Tickets will be on sale from 4th April.
