On Thursday evening it was revealed that Blyth Spartans would be wearing special home kits for Sunday’s FA Cup First Round tie with Altrincham. The famous green and white stripes will feature the logo of the Royal British Legion as the club pay their respects to the Armed Forces during a game played on Remembrance Sunday.

Now Spartans supporters are being offered the chance to take part in an auction to claim one of a number of match-worn signed shirts. All profits from the auction will be donated to the Royal British Legion.

The minimum bid for a shirt is £75.00 and bids can be made via text.

The highest bidder will be able to have first choice on which shirt they wish to have, with the second highest bidder getting second choice and so on.

Supporters should text their name and their bid to 07803 614532 before the deadline for bids will close at Midnight on Tuesday 11th November and the winning bidders will be presented with their shirts prior to the FA Trophy tie with Halesowen Town at Croft Park on Saturday 15th November.
