The 2009 Sportsman Dinner, held on Friday 3 April 2009, proved to be a huge hit. A selection of match action shots by Bill Broadley, of Blyth’s crucial relegation six pointer against Redditch Utd. Blyth had to battle for 60 minutes with 10 men, after Gary Brown was dismissed with a straight red card. Robbie Dale converted from the spot on 45 minutes following a foul on Marc Walton to give the Spartans the crucial winning goal.
