Newcastle United Friendly News

Blyth Spartans will play a Newcastle United eleven in a re-run of a game which took place almost exactly 100 years ago. Newcastle United beat the Spartans 4-2 in the 1909 match which was the very first to be played at Croft Park, where Blyth have played ever since. More Work At Croft Park

The Cramlington Caravans Stand is currently being repaired while the contractors are on site constructing The Kingsway Stand . The roof structure was supported by the 26 ton crane while the corroded main end column was replaced, the roof stiffeners and flashings will also be replaced.
