Blyth Spartans is pleased to confirm that Daniel Patterson and Dan Holmes have now been appointed as the Club’s official PA announcers.
Having advertised for a new PA announcer during the close season, two candidates stood out and each was given a pre-season friendly to demonstrate their skills. There was little to split the two candidates and for the first home game of the new season against Gloucester, they were each given a half.
After a spin-up to decide who would take the first half, once again they both performed well. Following discussion, it was decided that both would be appointed to ensure continuity in the event of work commitments or holidays.
After performing well in wins in our first two home matches, the pressure will be on for a hat trick of wins against Bank Holiday visitors Spennymoor Town.
