Blyth Spartans can confirm that Michael Barron and Stephen Turnbull will take charge of the first-team on an interim basis.  Barron has agreed to stay on and assist the club whilst it conducts a search to replace Michael Nelson’s after his departure on Wednesday evening. Blyth Spartans AFC is now accepting applications for the position of first-team manager.  Applicants who believe they have the relevant experience and qualifications should submit their CV to generalmanager@blythspartans.com.  The job includes team selection, with training nights taking place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and player recruitment. The club also has relationships with Tyne Metropolitan College and 20 Blyth Spartans Junior teams to consider.
