Blyth Spartans have added another new date to their pre-season diary as they head to EBAC Northern League Division Two side South Shields.
The game takes place at the newly named Mariners Park, formerly known as Filtrona Park on Tuesday 4th August with a 7.30pm kick off.
The Mariners have had an eventful summer and are in the hands of a new owner.
They have made several impressive signings, including former Spartans captain Wayne Buchanan
Tom Wade is expected to give a number of players game time as the clock ticks down towards the opening day on the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division season on Saturday 15th August
