TEAM NEWS
Spartans make their first away trip of the season on Tuesday night and Tom Wade’s side will travel to Liverpool looking to carry on where they left off against Coalville at Croft Park.

Super striker Daniel Maguire will look to add to the two goals he scored on the opening day, while Nathan Buddle’s suspension does not begin until Saturday’s game at Halesowen Town.

Marine began the season with a hard fought 2-1 win over Barwell, having given seven new players their debuts in that fixture. With the two sides trading wins in both of the last two seasons, this game will be hard to predict.

IN THE AWAY DUGOUT
Sean Hessey – Player/Manager – Appointed as caretaker manager on 24th February 2015, before being appointed Manager before the end of the season, Hessey masterminded Marine’s “Great Escape” by taking 23 points from 12 games to keep them in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.

Hessey built on that result by guiding the club to a 15th-placed finish in the league last season, with a comfortable cushion of eight points from the relegation places.

DANGER MAN
Daniel Mitchley – The striker scored 19 times last term and started the new season with both goals in the Mariners’ win over Barwell on Saturday. Mitchley equalised from the penalty spot in the first half, before powering home a header late on to secure all three points for the visitors.
