Gary Neasham steps down from Physiotherapist role

Blyth Spartans can confirm that Gary Neasham has stepped down from his role as Physiotherapist at the Club.

Neasham has covered over 1000 fixtures in semi-professional football from Steps 1 to 5 with almost half of that total working for Spartans.

He left the Club after six years in 2010 to take up a full-time position with Gateshead FC but returned to Croft Park in the summer of 2019.

Neasham will remain as Head of Medical Services at the Club overseeing the medical function, but due to pre-existing health conditions, he will be unable to fulfil first-team matchday pitchside physiotherapy and midweek training physiotherapy. He will also be contributing to recruitment alongside Graham Fenton as well as aiding with additional sponsorship for the Club.

Everyone at Blyth Spartans would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Neash for his commitment and dedication to the Club over the years and look forward to seeing his contributions come to fruition within his new roles in the present and future.
