Blyth Spartans and sportswear manufacturer EV2 have agreed a deal that will see the Yorkshire based company become the Croft Park club’s kit supplier for the next three seasons.

That means that EV2 will supply Spartans with their home, away and goalkeeper kits, starting with a brand new kit that will be released before the start of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League season.

Darren Moore, EV2’s Managing Director revealed what Spartans supporters could look forward to over the coming years and explained what the deal meant to his company.

He said “As a rapidly expanding company within semi professional football, we are delighted to become official kit and apparel supplier to Blyth Spartans for the next three years.

Blyth Spartans are probably one of the most famous non league football clubs in the world, steeped in history and tradition, and we are really excited with this new partnership.

EV2 are an innovative and dynamic bespoke sportswear manufacturer, who are a very forward thinking company and we are always pushing the boundaries of sportswear manufacturing, and looking at new and innovative products to introduce to the market, whilst also helping clubs maximise their merchandise programmes.

We look forward to giving the players and supporters of Blyth Spartans a totally new experience and diversity, within the range of merchandise that will be made available to them throughout the season, which will be mutually beneficial for all concerned”

The deal was agreed with the club in conjuction with the Blyth Spartans Official Supporters Club and committee member Anthony Seghini and he believes that the deal will be beneficial for the club and the Green Army.

“We were approached by EV2, as a potential kit supplier last season and whilst our previous supplier had supported us very well, we were very impressed with their professional proposal & range of quality kit and merchandise.

Our kit and Club branded merchandise had been similar for the last few years and as the Football Club had announced they were looking for a new shirt sponsor, we decided to take the opportunity to go for a complete new look.

This will be reflected in both the new home and away kits, as well as a whole range of bespoke merchandise, with something to suit all pockets. We are already developing a good working relationship with EV2 and we hope to have some of the new merchandise in the Official Cub Store and on the Online Store in the next week or so, with replica kits and further lines of merchandise being available from the start of the season.

We will advertise availability of merchandise on the Club website & on the Blyth Spartans Official Supporters Club Facebook page as soon as we have it”

An announcement regarding Blyth Spartans’ new kit sponsor and the big reveal of the new EV2 Blyth Spartans home and away kits will be made in the coming weeks.
