Club statement | Supporters affected by bus breakdown

The Club would like to thank all supporters that made the long journey to Wrexham for our match last Tuesday evening.

You were a credit to Blyth Spartans; your commitment and vociferous support was greatly appreciated by both the team and the management. There’s no doubt, as the “The twelfth man”, it certainly helped stimulate our second half performance.

Unfortunately, as we are all well aware, “coach one” broke down enroute to the match, and despite best efforts could not be repaired or replaced in time for the supporters on board to make it to the ground. To say the least, we were obviously devastated that the “unimaginable” had happened.

In recognition of this, The Club would like to offer free entry into our match against Alfreton this weekend to all of the “coach one” supporters. Complimentary tickets will be left at the Clubhouse turnstile with your name on.

For any season ticket holders on coach one, please contact Colin Blackett on the day so that arrangements can be made for either, free entry into an FA Trophy game or a reduction of next year’s season ticket.
