Mick Tait, manager of the Blue Square Bet North club, commented after the 2-2 draw, “We played without much pace in the first half and so at half time I said to the lads that we needed to step it up. In this mornings draw for the 2nd Qualifying round of the FA Cup Blyth were drawn away to Vauxhall Motors. The game will take place on 25th Sptember.
Today’s game against Worcester City will see Spartans manager Mick Tait take charge of the squad for the 100th time, over his two spells with the club.
